KNKG BAG CARE GUIDE
Keep your gear looking fresh. Keep your performance dialled in.
Your KNKG bag is built to work as hard as you do — but even the toughest gear deserves a reset. Here’s how to keep your bag clean, fresh and performing at its best.
STEP-BY-STEP BAG REFRESH
-
1
Empty it out
Remove everything. Clear out your gear, shake out the pockets, and give the bag a proper reset before cleaning.
-
2
Remove debris
Shake the bag out and vacuum any grit, chalk, or sand. Use a soft brush attachment to avoid damaging the lining and to get deep into corners and pockets.
-
3
Spot clean like a pro
For scuffs or marks on the outside, lightly scrub using warm water + baking soda (1 tbsp per 1 cup water). Use a soft cloth — never harsh brushes — to protect the fabric and coatings.
-
4
Disinfect & de-funk
Use disinfectant wipes or a gentle spray to kill germs and neutralize odours. Focus on handles, straps, pockets, shoe compartments, and high-touch zones.
-
5
Shield & protect
After cleaning, apply a fabric protectant or stain repellent (suitable for your bag’s material). This adds a barrier against sweat, rain, and unexpected spills.
-
6
Reset the smell
To keep your bag smelling good:
- Drop in an odour absorber
- Use activated charcoal packs
- Or place two unused tea bags inside overnight
Let them sit for 12–24 hours to fully absorb moisture and odour.
-
7
Air it out
Open every compartment and let your bag breathe. A few hours in a dry, shaded, well-ventilated spot is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight.
GENERAL CARE TIPS
- Avoid putting your bag in a washing machine or dryer.
- Keep sharp items in pouches to prevent punctures.
- If your bag gets wet, always dry it fully before storing.
- Store in a cool, dry place — not the back seat of your car.
