FAQS

The main difference is the unique weightlifting belt attachment. This feature allows the bag be used as normal, while carrying a cumbersome lifting belt on the outside. Other changes are the volume (25L and 33L) and the layout.

Most of the materials are the same as used in other KNKG bags. YKK zippers, heavy duty buckles, nylon lining and webbing are all the same. In the CORE range, we have gone for a lighter 500D nylon outside and a new velcro logo feature that allows you to go 'incognito' with your own patches.

Measure the widest point of your belt. The CORE33 (Large) Backpack can fit a belt up to 6.3"/16cm wide. The CORE25 (Medium) Backpack can fit a belt up to 5.9"/15cm wide.

And yes! Lever belts will work with this bag.

The CORE25 (Medium) Backpack fits shoes up to size 10 US mens trainers/runners comfortably. The CORE33 (Large) Backpack fits up to size 13 US mens.

    Great streamlined backpack

    I was debating between this and the conquer backpack but ended up going with this one because of the 25L size and because I liked the more sleek, streamlined look. I'm 5'0 so some backpacks make me look like a school kid 😂 I love the pockets and the way my lifting belt fits into the straps. The straps are comfortable although wish it was a tad bit thicker for comfort. Love the natty color

    This bag can take a hig

    Recently, I went for a hike through the Peek-a-boo and Spooky slot canyons in Utah. The slots are known to be extremely narrow, so much so, it’s strongly advised that people who are more “rotund” should avoid it. For hours I pushed and pulled myself between rocks and at one point, even had to toss my bag 15 feet down at one point to navigate a drop. I was using the bag to hold a bunch of my water, batteries and photo/video equipment (smaller items like DJI Pocket 3). At the end of the day, my tactical ripstop cargo pants were covered with holes while the bag didn’t have a scratch on it. This thing is built to last, and it was comfortable to wear on my hike.

    Mixed Feelings

    Quality of bag materials is solid. Functionality of bag is not great. I like the open top access but the amount of room in the bag is drastically reduced when I use the shoe compartment which only has a pair of slides for the shower in it. Front pockets are slim/tight so you really fit much in them except a pair of lifting straps. Belt storage feature is great in concept but the Velcro makes it a challenge to get your belt in and out. Not really worth the $$$.

    The shoe compartment to Hoban after a few uses. Reached out to them, they said they would get back to me, haven’t gotten back to me. It’s been a handful of days. This is just a current review.
